Carlos Pardo is the author of three books of poetry: Echado a Perder (Generation of ’27 Award for Poetry 2007), Desvelo sin paisaje (Emilios Prados Award 2002) and El invernadero (Hiperión Prize for Poetry 1995). He is the codirector of the annual international poetry festival Cosmopoética and an editor for Antonio Machado Libros. Pardo lives in Madrid.

Elizabeth Zuba is a poet and painter who lives in Brooklyn. Some of her work has recently appeared in Versal, Handsome, American Letters & Commentary, and Aufgabe. She is currently happily translating the work of Spanish poet Carlos Pardo and Argentine poet Arnaldo Calveyra.
