Louis Cancelmi is an actor, writer whose work has been published in various print and electronic journals, including Conjunctions, the New England Review, Redivider, SIGNALS///noise, and elsewhere. He also translated Léon Bloy’s Exegesis of Commonplaces (Wiseblood Books).

The quintessential poet of Cubism, Pierre Reverdy (1889-1960), collaborated with many of the leading voices of his time. In 1917, Reverdy founded the short-lived but influential avant-garde literary magazine Nord-Sud, featuring works from writers such as André Breton, Jean Cocteau, and Tristan Tzara. Most of his poetry is contained in two cumulative collections, Plupart du temps and Main d’oeuvre.
