Bradford Morrow is the founding editor of Conjunctions. He is the author of ten books of fiction, including Trinity Fields, Giovanni’s Gift (both Viking), The Forgers (Grove Atlantic/Mysterious Press), and The Prague Sonata (Atlantic Monthly Press). He is the recipient of a Guggenheim Fellowship in fiction, an Academy Award in literature from the American Academy of Arts and Letters, and the PEN/Nora Magid Award for excellence in editing a literary journal. Hailed by the New York Times as “perhaps the most important jazz composer of his generation,” Henry Threadgill has been celebrated for over forty years as one of the most original, forward-thinking composers and multi-instrumentalists in American music. His four-movement work, In for a Penny, In for a Pound, received the Pulitzer Prize for Music in 2016. In his autobiography, Easily Slip Into Another World: A Life in Music (Knopf), Threadgill recalls his childhood and upbringing in Chicago, his family life and education, and his brilliant career in music.

Alice Farley is a choreographer/director, costume and illusion designer. Alice Farley Dance Theater is a resident company of LaMama, E.T.C. in New York.
