Lorna Goodison was Jamaica’s Poet Laureate from 2017 to 2020 and received the Queen’s Gold Medal for Poetry in 2019. Among her many books of poetry are Collected Poems and Mother’s Muse, (both Carcanet). She also recently released a new adaptation of Dante’s Inferno (Carcanet).
